Day 85

Gestational Age: 36 weeks 3 days

Josh was doing better today. He had less fluid and they had adjusted his vent settings down. They did adjust his morphine to a lower dose but had to bring it up a bit as it wasn't managing the pain like it should. All in all, it was a better day. I am sure every day is going to be better for him and for us.

We are happy to hear Josh is doing better. It´s always so hard to see our little boys feeling unconfortable or pain. I know how you feel. I hope from now on it´s only a matter of "maturing" a bit more until you go home together.
In about 3 weeks we are also going thru the same reconnection surgery. We are praying for GOD to protect and heal my baby every day and Josh is in our prayers.
GOD bless our preemies!

He's the cutest little Puff I've ever laid my eyes upon!! I know that it is difficult to see the set backs.....but this is all recovery on the road to home. Each day he gets stronger and climbs one more step to the top of that mountain....I can't wait until you hold him in your arms and show him the view from the top!! I love you all!!! Joan
