Gestational age: 27 weeks 6 days

Josh is doing well today. Of course, as soon as we walk in he has a desat... gotta show off for mommy and daddy. i got to hold him for a bit this evening and for most of the time, he had no desats. He did however have a few after the surgeon was messing with him and his ostomy bag. They are still trying to figure out the feeds and how much that is dumping into the bag is stool and how much is duodenal fluid.... I am sure they will figure something out! They think he isn't as active as usual and did blood cultures and urine cultures today to rule out any infections. We should get some results by tomorrow. They did adjust his vent settings a bit higher today. I do believe that is all for now. Keep up the prayers and good wishes. Love to all!
