We are not going to venture up to see him today. Another day of bad weather that takes away from my visiting time. Sucks, but I don't want to risk our lives to see him.
Wow! We have hit the 2 pound mark if the weight is correct. I am going to call this evening after his weigh in to make sure this is correct!! If so... whoo hoo! One major milestone reached!
They are going to give him a break today and not try the PICC line. I guess they will wait until tomorrow to try again. He has been awake here and there today. Eyes wide open and looking around. He is still on the lasix and 1 cc feeds. Still having desats/sats and they adjusted his settings on the vent a bit today. We will see him early tomorrow, hopefully before they poke him again. That's all for now. I may update after the call this evening. Love to you all!
